At our Van Nuys Campus, we have programs dedicated to helping these clients live a healthy, confident, deserving life: Project Six/The Commons is a 24 -hour residential treatment program that serves adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 and non-minor dependents. The Program is designed to treat adolescents with a variety of diagnoses and behaviors, including mood, depression and anxiety disorders, emotional and behavioral challenges, autism spectrum disorder, and learning disabilities.

- Location: Van Nuys
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mental health treatment which will include interfacing with School Districts and their representatives, The Help Group’s Non-Public Schools, Regional Centers, community psychiatric hospitals, and Department of Family and Child Services.
Qualifications
- MA or MS degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy, or Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from a nationally or regionally accredited graduate program.
- A minimum of one year of experience working with children adolescents and families.
- Familiarity with principles of family-centered, strengths-based services.
- Ability to function as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to provide home-based and field-based services.
- Familiarity with DMH documentation a plus.
- Valid CA Driver License and clean driving record, acceptable to Agency’s insurance carrier.

This salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of The Help Group. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
