QUALIFICATIONS:   

Master’s Degree and licensed post 2 years in the mental health field of psychology, social work, marriage and family counseling with the ability to provide clinical supervision.  Strong clinical skills with proven experience working with high needs children and families. Familiarity with principles of family-centered, strengths-based services, with strong communication, computer, organizational, leadership and supervisory skills. Must have valid California drivers’ license, car and insurance.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Assist Director in providing program coordination and administrative oversight including staff training, report writing, and supervision of paraprofessional staff and clinical             supervision of professional staff.
  • Manage referrals and case assignments and serve as liaison with referring parties, including DCFS.  
  • Provide 24 hour availability and crisis intervention on an as-needed basis. 
  • Provide case coverage and conduct therapeutic groups, if/when needed. 
  • Work closely with Director to ensure documentation requirements for agency and funders are met. Approve and maintain program funds for client needs
  •  Participate in supervisor’s meeting, staff meetings, agency-wide meetings, and in-service trainings, as well as outside agency meetings with community liaisons, including          DCFS-referring offices, as assigned. 
  • Provide networking, marketing and outreach services in the surrounding communities to develop and foster community partnerships 
  • Assume role of Program Director in his/her absence.
  • Arrange work schedule of required hours to the benefit of the PFF program and clients with the approval of the Program Director.

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of The Help Group. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire. The Help Group reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. If your requirements fall outside of this range, you are still welcome to apply.
