Job Description
New River Valley Community Services’ KPACT Program is seeking a part-time KPACT Youth Mentor. KPACT provides community-based, direct services to children and adolescents who are at-risk of out-of-home placement. Youth Mentors work with a team of clinicians, mentors, and peers to assist in connecting clients with their community and needed resources. Additionally, Youth Mentors provide support to clients as they work to improve social skills, develop healthy and appropriate coping mechanisms, and increase positive family and social relationships.
Starting Hourly Rate: $16.26-Depending on Education and Experience
Education/Experience Requirements:

Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in human services, or a related field and at least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental health, and/or substance abuse preferred.
- Experience working with adults, children, and families is preferred.
