- Manage patient check-in and registration
- Review medications and provide patient education
- Maintain accurate electronic medication records
- Perform basic clinical procedures
- Order lab work per established protocols
- Collaborate with care team to support patient treatment
- Uphold NRHA standards of care, conduct, and mission
- Caring, compassionate, and understanding to all patients.
- Graduate of an accredited program of medical assisting.
- Knowledge of medical principles and skills needed to assess the need for, provide, and evaluate patient care and treatment.
- Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, treatment room procedures, medications and their side effects, and patient education principles to assist in the development of an individual self-care program.
