New River Engineers is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafting Technician to join our architectural and engineering team in Athens, Ohio. Responsibilities
- Create and revise architectural and engineering drawings using AutoCAD
- Prepare detailed construction documents, layouts, and technical drawings
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to support project development
- Maintain drawing accuracy, organization, and project documentation
- Assist with project revisions and updates throughout various project phases
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and project specifications
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required
- Prior drafting or architectural experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction and architectural documents
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or certification in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or related field
