What you’ll do
- Greet guests with enthusiasm and professionalism, creating a welcoming environment.
- Manage reservations and seating charts efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff to ensure seamless service.
- Handle phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, providing information about menu offerings and wait times.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Address guest concerns promptly and courteously to enhance their dining experience.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of customer service.
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, for efficient order processing.
Basic qualifications
- Previous host/host or restaurant experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to engage with guests and team members effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in food service or hospitality roles is a plus.
- Familiarity with guest services and relations to enhance customer satisfaction.
