Job description

Operates power press that automatically feeds continuous rolls of material into position under ram by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Turns knobs or installs gears to synchronize action of feed bar or feed rollers with feed and takeoff conveyor and automatic action of ram.

Threads plastic or fibre coils from reel through feed rollers.

Operates machine to punch material.

Inspect parts and document measurements for each job.

Adjusts ram stroke and feed of press.

Positions and clamps material guides.
