Our growing Dermatology practice is seeking a dedicated and team-oriented Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Create a professional, welcoming environment that enhances patient care and satisfaction
- Room and interview patients to document chief complaints and medical histories
- Prepare exam rooms and assist the physician during exams, procedures, and treatments, including skin biopsies, minor surgical procedures, and cosmetic services
- Accurately document physical exams and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Obtain informed consent for procedures and treatments, and provide pricing information as needed
- Deliver thorough post-care instructions to patients
- Label, log, and process patient specimens (biopsies, tissue cultures, etc.)
- Clean and restock exam rooms and sterilize instruments after each patient
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Prior Medical Assistant experience (required)
- Dermatology experience (preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) (preferred)
- Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (required)
- U.S. work authorization (required)

Work Schedule
- Clinical Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; one Saturday per month from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Non-Clinical Days: Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
