Kids' Company offers full day summer programming for ages 33 months through Grade 6.
As a Kids’ Company Special Needs Assistant your primary function is to assist students with disabilities who need support to access activities and tasks while in Kids’ Company programming.
This position helps facilitate an age-appropriate, stimulating, and safe environment for the students and may be done by providing one-one care or reduced ratio care. You will be responsible for the safety of the kids, providing a welcoming environment and using professionalism when engaging with children, staff, parents and other members of the team.
This position reports directly to the Site Coordinator and will also take direction from the Site Leader. Summer Special Needs Assistants should be professional, be a team player, have great communication skills, and a positive attitude.
