What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Services: Swim Instructor position at New Prague Area Schools?
The Fitness and Aquatic Center is looking for outgoing, enthusiastic individuals who have experience working with kids and enjoy the water. Part-time summer and year-round jobs are available teaching children to swim with the SwimAmerica program.
Group swim lessons are offered throughout the year in the Aquatic Center. Our instructors are certified through the national Swim America program, succesful applicants will receive training.
Requirements:
- Enjoy working with children
- Typical hours:
- School-year: Sunday Evenings and Weekday Evenings
- Summer: Mornings and Evenings
- Swim America certification (can obtain once hired)
- Ability to control a small group
- Ability to effective manage up to 6 children (ages my vary)
