Responsibilities include: Provide individualized support based on each person's Individual Support Plan (ISP) Assist individuals in developing daily living, communication, and social skills Lead and participate in community outings, recreational activities, and volunteer opportunities Encourage independence, self-confidence, and informed decision-making Assist with personal care and mobility when needed Prepare meals and support healthy daily routines Administer medications following agency policies Maintain accurate electronic documentation and daily service records Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times Build positive relationships with individuals, families, coworkers, and community partners Qualifications Preferred High School Diploma or GED One year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities Active Virginia CNA, NA, or PCA certification Skills We're Looking For We're seeking individuals who are: Compassionate and patient Reliable and professional Strong communicators Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable using computers and electronic documentation Able to work independently while contributing to a team environment Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing the physical requirements of the position Application Information After applying, please check your email inbox and spam/junk folder for instructions to schedule your phone interview.
