Housekeeper

The Last Frontier Poker Room and the New Phoenix Casino are accepting applications for a full-time and part-time housekeeper. Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across our property, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Your efforts will directly contribute to the overall guest satisfaction and operational excellence of our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to meet health and safety standards
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques using appropriate cleaning equipment
• Manage janitorial supplies by monitoring inventory levels and applying proper use of cleaning detergents and disinfectants
• Assist with outdoor work tasks when necessary to ensure the property's exterior remains tidy and inviting

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training. But willing to train the right candidate
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
• Prior outdoor work experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn new skills is essential
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a WA Food Handlers Permit

Potential full-time days and hours are still to be determined.

Part-time days and hours will potentially be Friday and Saturday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Applicants must be dependable, have a strong work ethic, and be flexible enough to work all shifts.

Starting pay will start at $17.50 with a potential wage increase after a 90-day performance review.
