New Phase Research is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Clinical Research Coordinator position. As a study coordinator, you play a direct role in advancing medical knowledge, treatments, and patient care. Your work supports important clinical trials that can lead to new drugs, devices, and therapies. There is a learning curve in the clinical research industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement clinical research studies in accordance with protocols, GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Perform clinical procedures including vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection and processing, and medication administration as permitted by scope of practice
- Screen, recruit, and enroll study participants; obtain informed consent under the direction of the Principal Investigator
- Educate participants on study procedures, expectations, and follow-up requirements
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in source documents and electronic data capture systems
- Monitor participants for adverse events and report findings appropriately
- Schedule and conduct study visits, ensuring protocol adherence
- Communicate effectively with sponsors, CROs, and study team members
Qualifications:
- Active LPN license
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and data entry systems
- Able to work in fast-paced environments
Work Environment:
- Clinical research site setting
- May require standing for extended periods and performing patient care tasks
