- Provide leadership to underwriting and credit teams while overseeing loan processing and loan review activities, coaching talent, strengthening execution, and supporting complex credit decisions.
- Oversee and help maintain the lending systems that support origination, documentation, underwriting, and servicing, partnering across teams to strengthen performance, integration, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor portfolio trends, concentrations, risk grades, delinquencies, and policy exceptions, and provide insight to senior leadership and committees as needed.
- Partner across Commercial Lending, Special Assets, Risk, and Information Systems to identify emerging risk, support problem loan management, and strengthen overall portfolio performance.
- Contribute to senior management, committee, and Board-related settings as needed, while representing the Bank professionally in the community and industry.
What We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if you bring: a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience), along with 10 years of commercial lending, underwriting, or credit analysis experience in a community banking environment. You should offer strong credit administration and risk management knowledge, sound commercial lending judgment, people leadership capability, and comfort working with senior leadership and committees.
Ideal strengths include: expertise in portfolio monitoring, loan risk rating, workout strategies, banking regulations, and lending systems that support origination, documentation, servicing, and reporting.
This is a full-time exempt senior-level role with a regular 40-hour work week, and additional time as needed to support business needs.
