What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sheetmetal Mechanic position at New Page Management?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installing lines of ductwork and installing HVAC equipment under the direction of the site foreman.
- Modifying ductwork as needed in the field, accurately conducting field measurements and making sketches for ductwork fabrication.
- Safely and effectively using all tools and equipment required onsite.
- Laying out equipment and ductwork onsite.
- Working closely with the site foreman to help schedule work, order material and coordinate installation.
- Having a safety mindset.
- Being reliable by showing up on time, ready to work each day.
- Displaying a willingness to help us continually improve.
Qualification requirements:
- Previous experience in industrial construction industry preferred
- 2 years of sheet metal experience
