New Pacific Charter–Arden Arcade is seeking an experienced, student-centered teacher ready to step into a school leadership role. This unique Principal/Teacher position is ideal for an educator who wants to help launch and lead a small, growing Tk–4 school. We are looking for an experienced teacher who is ready to take the next step into a leadership position. The Principal will teach a class initially and transition into full administrative responsibilities as enrollment grows. We are a community-focused public charter school committed to whole-child education, personalized learning, and inquiry-driven instruction. Our model features multi-age classrooms, flexible grouping, and project-based learning. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about serving diverse students and families, building strong school culture, and developing leadership in staff and students through the Leader in Me program. Requirements / Qualifications
• A commission on teacher credentialing certificate, permit, or another document equivalent to that which a teacher would be required to hold. • Experience working with students including EL, Gifted and Talented Education, and at-promise students. • Leadership coursework that may include an administrative credential or similar training. • A record of success in developing and supporting teachers. • Must participate in DMV pull program if required to drive a company vehicle. • Completion of approved food service-oriented course or training (can be completed within first 30 days of employment).
