New Outlook Home Care is hiring 2–3 compassionate overnight caregivers to provide care for one client in Medford, Oregon. This position is 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM (15-hour overnight shifts). Coverage is needed 7 days a week, with the schedule shared among 2–3 caregivers.
We are seeking a female caregiver based on the client’s preference, but experienced male caregivers are welcome to apply.
About the Client:
- Beginning stages of dementia
- Uses a walker and is a fall risk
- Wears hearing aids
- Wears protective briefs and needs assistance with brief changes
- Needs assistance with standing, sitting, and mobility
- Receives bathing assistance from another home health provider
- Values companionship, conversation, and a calm, reassuring presence
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Assist with brief changes and personal care
- Prepare meals, snacks, and breakfast
- Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care
- Monitor for safety throughout the overnight shift
- Document care provided according to agency policies
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience preferred; dementia care experience is a plus
- Experience assisting clients with mobility and fall prevention
- Dependable, patient, and compassionate
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Must pass a criminal background check
Pay: $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience.
