The Windsor Court seeks a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a cocktail server. As a Polo Lounge Server, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests, ensuring a positive first and last impression by maintaining a professional, pleasant, and helpful attitude while fulfilling guests’ needs.
Responsibilities:
– Take and fulfill guest beverage requests in a timely and accurate manner
– Address and resolve all customer problems in an efficient and effective manner
– Responsible for maintaining high product knowledge
– Bus tables as necessary
– Maintain cleanliness of all Polo Lounge and surrounding areas
– Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
– Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
– Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
– Ensures tips are reported correctly for tax processing
– Attempts to limit problems and liability related to customers’ excessive drinking by taking steps such as discontinuing alcohol service and notifying management of potential problem(s)
– Ensure compliance with state and federal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
Requirements
– Proven work experience as a server or in a similar role
– One year Bartender/Server in a luxury setting preferred
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
– Ability to stand for extended periods
– Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
