Job Summary

Job Summary

We are currently seeking experienced educators to instruct adult learners with diverse skill levels and learning preferences. An ideal candidate will possess expertise in teaching English Language Development, core academic subjects at the high school level, and independent studies programs. Flexibility to teach additional courses as required is essential. ****Candidates will be considered for an evening shift position located at our Family First Charter School - Hawthorne school site.**** Although the current vacancy is at one of our community-based school sites, we also operate three correctional facility-based school sites, two in downtown LA and one in Lynwood. All applicants must be open to commuting between school locations and willing to teach within correctional facilities, as this aligns with our school's mission.

Requirements / Qualifications

Requirements to be considered for the ELD/ESL teacher position: -A valid California Teaching Credential in the following categories: Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, or Single Subject Teaching Credential in a core academic subject area(s) -English Language Learner Authorization -Bilingual preferred not required
