Full-Time, Union, Non-Exempt Position
$20.13 per hour, 40 hours per week
BASIC FUNCTION OF DOC CASE MANAGER:
Provide Case Management services to clients assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF DOC CASE MANAGER:
- Monitor and supervise client activity regarding adherence to conditions i.e. employment, SA services, urine monitoring, program participation etc.
- Monitor and supervise client activities to ensure program policies and procedures are followed and taking appropriate action when violation are observed to include reporting violations to program manager.
- Prepare court letters and routine and special reports regarding clients.
- Assist with referrals for medical and other services as required.
- Assist in any way necessary to guide the client through the program and to meet all program requirements
- Supervise clients performing community service.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records on all client activity.
- Provide on-call back up as scheduled.
- Follow all NOI and program policies and procedures and report any incidents where procedures are not being followed to the program manager.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS OF DOC CASE MANAGER:
Education:
B.A. Degree preferred, A.S. required. Similar combination of education and experience will be considered. Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of two years experience as a Case Manager and experience working with offenders preferred.
Job Skills:

- Ability to deal with difficult or resistant clients.
- Excellent communication skills needed.
- Intermediate computer skills, including MS word and Outlook required.
