New Mind Counseling Services is a growing private practice dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered mental health services to individuals, couples, and/or families. We are seeking a skilled and caring social worker/therapist to join our team.
The ideal candidate is a licensed social worker who values autonomy, collaboration, and high-quality clinical care. This position offers the opportunity to build a caseload aligned with your clinical interests while working in a supportive private-practice environment. Position can be part-time and move to full-time.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, and/or family psychotherapy to clients.
- Complete clinical assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation.
- Develop individualized treatment goals in collaboration with clients.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards of practice.
- Coordinate care with physicians, schools, community providers, and other professionals as appropriate.
- Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable state regulations.
- Participate in consultation and/or clinical supervision as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
- Current Michigan clinical social work license (LMSW/LCSW)
- Experience providing mental health counseling/psychotherapy preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while participating as part of a collaborative practice.
- Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and client-centered care.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
