Hmong Dance Coach

Position Summary:
The Hmong Dance Coach is responsible for leading, organizing, and developing the Hmong Dance program in collaboration with fellow dance coaches. The coach will foster student-athletes’ growth through skill development, teamwork, performance experiences, and academic accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead dance practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and performing.

• Supervise all practices and performances.

• Promote positive teamwork and the school’s values on and off the dance floor.

• Communicate with families, athletic directors, and school leadership regarding schedules, expectations, and dancers' progress.

• Ensure student safety and maintain a positive, inclusive environment.

• Track attendance, participation, and dance performance needs.

Qualifications:

• Prior Hmong dance coaching or performance experience preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Commitment to fostering teamwork, discipline, and student development.

Compensation:
This position receives a stipend of $25/hour
