Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems - plastic extrusion blow and injection molding machines to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in compliance with operational standards.
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects or equipment upgrades to improve facility performance.
Skills
- Extensive mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical systems repair and maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
- Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) practices across diverse mechanical and electrical systems.
- Skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when needed.
- Familiarity with building systems is a plus for larger projects or upgrades.
