Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a K-4 Bilingual Teacher at New Mexico International School located in Albuquerque, NM. The teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in both target languages, designing and implementing lesson plans, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and facilitating students' learning and language development. Additional responsibilities include assessing student progress, collaborating with colleagues and parents, and supporting the mission and goals of the school in fostering an inquiry-based, language-rich environment.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Teaching to craft and deliver effective and engaging bilingual instructional content.
• Experience in Education and Training to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and parents in both target languages.
• Fluency in both English and the target language (Spanish preferred).
• Knowledge of inquiry-based teaching methods and familiarity with a bilingual or multilingual educational environment.
• State certification or licensure to teach at the K-4 level or eligibility to obtain such certification.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful learning environment.
