We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at the New Mexico Center for Pain & Wellness. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details.
- Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing phone calls.
- Ensure the reception area is organized and welcoming for patients.
Requirements
- Ability to travel including reliable transportation (travel expenses paid)
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and office procedures is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
