Boston Bathtub – Greater Boston Area
Boston Bathtub is looking for a reliable Driver / Field Assistant to transport one of our refinishing technicians between customer locations throughout Massachusetts. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, is dependable, and doesn't mind assisting with light physical work throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive company employees to and from customer job sites.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials.
- Help carry tools and supplies into and out of homes and apartment buildings.
- Provide general assistance to the technician during projects as needed.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, organized, and fueled.
- Follow all traffic laws and maintain a professional appearance and attitude when interacting with customers.
- Assist with miscellaneous shop or warehouse tasks when needed.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license in good standing (required).
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- Pass a background check if required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving cargo vans or work vehicles. (Dodge caravans)
- Experience in construction, maintenance, moving, or other hands-on labor is a plus, but not required.
