Job Description:
The Clinic Manager coordinates the ministry of providing direct services to the clients by overseeing the daily operations of the clinic. It is a teaching and overseer position under which staff members are trained and coordinated to be able to best meet the needs of a woman in an unplanned pregnancy. The Clinic Manager is also responsible, when called upon, for communicating the Clinic’s goals to the community through contacts with various organizations or mission conferences.
Hours: Full-time, up to 40 hours per week position
Essential Functions:
- Oversees clinic schedule alongside Director of Medical Services and staff to ensure prime operations for optimal client experience.
- Keeps updated adoption referrals, resource article files, and community programs.
- Provide spiritual leadership within the clinic by initiating daily prayer and devotional time with staff, creating a Christ-centered foundation for the day. Encourage and equip team members to share the Gospel with confidence and compassion when appropriate, reminding them that spiritual care is an essential part of holistic care for our patients.
- Model faith in action and create opportunities for ongoing discipleship, training, and encouragement.
- Interact with Director of Clinic Operations to relate unique client or staff needs; relate progress of clinic and set goals for clinic. Assist Director of Clinic Operations with yearly goals report for clinic. Assist Director of Clinic Operations and the Director of Medical Services with the hiring of clinic staff.
- Provide input to Director of Clinic Operations on matters outside the scope of the AWPMC policy and procedures.
- Complete a monthly Clinic Manager’s Report and review monthly FPSSP data in Subsidium.
- Assist DOCO maintain a working relationship with social service organizations, churches, service groups and businesses that can aid our clients as needed
- Oversee physical aspects of clinic, i.e. housekeeping, maintenance and supplies.
- Oversee and train volunteers for the clinic.
- Participate in all staff, Client Services and Manager’s meetings.
Qualifications:
• Is a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
• Exhibits a strong commitment and dedication to the life-affirming position
• Holds a high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Has had course work in management and counseling skills or equivalent experience
• Is able to manage staff with a teamwork approach to management of tasks.
• Has word processing, data entry skills, and is proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Is competent in crisis counseling and management
• Demonstrates ability to manage a budget.
• Expresses full agreement with the clinic’s Statement of Principle and Statement of Faith and policies of the clinic
•Has sincere desire to reach out to women and families in unplanned pregnancies, especially the abortion vulnerable or abortion minded.
