Your Core Responsibilities
As our Hygiene Assistant, you are the heartbeat of the hygiene department:
- Sterilization Expert: Managing hygiene instrument flow and maintaining a clinical environment that meets the highest standards.
- Room Transitions: Rapidly and efficiently "flipping" rooms to keep our Germantown patients seen on time.
- Clinical Support: Performing accurate perio charting and data entry during exams.
- Radiography: Taking high-quality digital X-rays (FMX, Bitewings, and Pano).
- Patient Connection: Being the friendly face that welcomes patients, updates their history, and ensures they have a 5-star experience.
Qualifications & Skills
- Maryland X-ray Certification (Required).
- Bubbly & Outgoing: You naturally connect with people and bring a positive "can-do" attitude to every shift.
- Team-Centric: You understand that "that's not my job" isn't in our vocabulary. We win as a team.
- Reliable & Fast-Paced: You enjoy staying moving and keeping the schedule flowing smoothly.
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
