Responsibilities

- Engage children in activities that promote childhood development milestones such as language acquisition, motor skills, and emotional regulation.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, developmental needs, and any concerns related to child welfare or special education requirements.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor individual progress and tailor lesson plans accordingly.
- Support early intervention strategies when necessary to assist children with developmental delays or special needs.
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, lesson plans, child observations, and progress reports in compliance with childcare standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, particularly with toddlers aged one year old.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and early intervention techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development across literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori approaches.
- Experience managing classroom environments for young children with effective classroom management skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with children, parents, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies suitable for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred.
