The New Lenox Public Library District is seeking an Adult & Teen Services Specialist to assist the public with reference inquiries, readers advisory questions, and utilizing library resources. We are looking for a patron focused and creative person who is also comfortable with technology. The successful candidate will interact with adult and teen patrons as well as with library staff to provide a friendly, high-quality customer service experience. This part-time position is non-exempt and IMRF eligible. As a member of both the Adult & Teen Services Department as well as the New Lenox Public Library team, our values of accountability, initiative, responsibility, and teamwork are integral to daily success. Benefits such as paid vacation and holiday time are included along with many opportunities to participate in continuing education.
20 hours per week, flexible schedule to include two Saturdays and two Sundays per month with day and evening hours during the week.
$17.50/hr.
