Medical Spa Receptionist

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our medical spa team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support while ensuring a welcoming environment for patients. This role requires proficiency in health information management, familiarity with medical terminology, and strong clerical skills to effectively manage patient interactions and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate care plans with medical staff.
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information regarding aesthetic terminology as needed.
• Assist with clerical duties such as data entry, maintaining office supplies, and managing correspondence.
• Support the medical team by providing administrative assistance as required.
• Other duties as necessary

Experience

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of aesthetics terminology will be beneficial in assisting patients effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for providing outstanding patient service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
