Contract LCADC or CADC Supervisor for RADPSS

Overview
New Leaf Clinic (NLC) is seeking a Kentucky Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors (KBADC) Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor to provide required supervision services for Registered Alcohol and Drug Peer Support Specialists (RADPSS) and Trained Registered Alcohol and Drug Peer Support Specialists (TRADPSS).

This contracted position is responsible for providing supervision in accordance with KBADC regulations, maintaining required documentation, supporting professional development of peer support staff, and ensuring compliance with all applicable state requirements.

Duties:

Clinical Supervision

• Provide supervision to assigned RADPSS and TRADPSS staff in accordance with KBADC regulations.

Regulatory Compliance

• Review, verify, and sign all required supervision documentation, including Form 8 (Peer Support Specialist Verification of Supervision).
• Ensure supervisees remain compliant with all applicable KBADC requirements and ethical standards.
• Assist supervisees in understanding and adhering to the Peer Support Code of Ethics.

Professional Development

• Provide guidance regarding professional boundaries, ethical decision-making, documentation practices, and effective use of lived experience in peer support services.
• Support skill development and professional growth of peer support staff.

Supervisory Agreement Management

• Establish and maintain required Supervisory Agreements through the KBADC eServices Portal.
• Notify NLC of any concerns related to supervisee performance, compliance, or ethical conduct.

Annual Reporting

• Review, approve, and submit all required annual supervision reports and renewal documentation as required by KBADC.
• Conduct a minimum of two (2) hours of supervision per month for each supervisee, as required by the Kentucky Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors.
• Maintain appropriate documentation of all supervision activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Credentials

Applicants must meet all current KBADC requirements to provide supervision for RADPSS and TRADPSS staff, including:

• Active Kentucky credential as:
• Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), or
• Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), or
• Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS)
• Current status as a KBADC Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising peer support professionals.
• Experience working within substance use disorder (SUD), co-occurring disorder, or behavioral health treatment settings.
• Knowledge of Kentucky Medicaid behavioral health services and recovery-oriented systems of care.
• Strong understanding of recovery principles, ethics, and person-centered care.

Experience Requirements

• LCADC: Minimum of one (1) year of post-licensure experience; or
• CADC: Minimum of two (2) years of post-certification experience and completion of any required KBADC supervisor training.

Continuing Education

• Current and compliant with all KBADC supervision-related continuing education requirements.

Contract Terms

• Independent Contractor (1099) position.
• Flexible scheduling based on supervisee needs and regulatory requirements.
• Supervision may be conducted in-person, virtually, or through a hybrid model as permitted by KBADC regulations.
• Compensation is negotiable and may be structured on an hourly, monthly, or per-supervisee basis.
• Administrative support will be provided by New Leaf Clinic for scheduling, record retention, and document management.

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
