Job Summary
Under the direction of the site administrator and/or regular classroom teacher, the Substitute Teacher provides instruction and supervision for students in TK–12 classrooms during the absence of the regular teacher. The Substitute Teacher implements provided lesson plans and district-adopted curriculum, maintains a safe, orderly, and supportive learning environment, manages student behavior, monitors student progress and participation, and performs other duties necessary to support continuity of instruction and student learning.
