Equipment Technician

NJRA relies on equipment technicians to facilitate a seamless clinical experience for our patients. Whether we are setting up rooms to prepare for admissions, providing education, or performing preventative maintenance, our technicians play a vital role in providing patients what they need to recover.

Duties:

• Perform equipment & supply setups, specifically for individuals requiring BiPAP/CPAP, tracheostomy care, and supplemental oxygen

• Safely handle and deliver equipment for needed set ups

• Complete necessary paperwork for deliveries and returns

• Professionally represent the company in communicating accordingly with nurses and patients as needed

• Maintain company vehicle in clean and orderly manner per company standards

• Follow company process to clean and stock all returned purchased/rental equipment/supplies

• Support yearend inventory audit

• Participate in the weekly and weekend on-call rotations

• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

• Possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance.

• Strong communication skills that let you converse comfortably with patients, nursing, and administration.

• Prior professional driving experience

• Basic computer skills

Would like to see:

• Prior experience in the medical equipment set up atmosphere
• Microsoft Office experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to drive long distances for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Locations

• NJRA services the entire state of New Jersey as well as parts of Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland.
