Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Front Office Receptionist position located in Wayne, NJ. The Front Office Receptionist will manage daily administrative tasks, including greeting visitors, handling incoming calls professionally, scheduling appointments, and overseeing front office operations. Additional responsibilities include maintaining patient records, assisting with queries, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all patients and visitors.
Qualifications
· Previous medical office or healthcare reception experience preferred
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
· Basic understanding of medical insurance plans and patient registration processes
· Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
· Fluent in English (required)

Responsibilities:
· Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
· Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
· Respond to online patient appointment requests and inquiries
· Verify patient demographics and insurance information
· Understand insurance participation and assist with insurance-related questions
· Collect copayments and process patient payments
· Scan and upload patient documents, insurance cards, and identification into the electronic medical
system
· Sort incoming faxes and accurately upload documents to the appropriate patient charts
· Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
· Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors
