What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fully Funded PhD Position (TA) position at New Jersey Institute of Technology?
A fully funded PhD position (Teaching Assistantship) is available in the School of Applied Engineering and Technology (SAET) at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), under the PhD in Engineering Science (ESC) program.
The research focuses on Intelligent Control, System health Monitoring, and Predictive Maintenance, with emphasis on:
- AI/ML and hybrid (physics data) modeling and control
- Fault detection, failure prediction & reliable decision-making
- Applications in industrial systems, microgrids, and renewable energy systems
The student will work under the supervision of Dr. Mohsen Azizi in the Networked Controls and Intelligent Diagnostics (NCID) Lab (https://research.njit.edu/ncid).
