Position Details
Location: Port Reading, Piscataway, Iselin, Toms River & Barnegat County: Middlesex & Ocean
Hours Per Work Week: As needed Weekly Work Schedule: As needed
NJID has full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Somerset Counties.
This is a non-benefited position.

We are recruiting for Substitute Program Assistants to work with adults with developmental disabilities in a day program setting.
Job Responsibilities Of a Substitute Program Assistant
- Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives
- Support recreational and social activities
- Provide appropriate personal care as needed
- Assist with transportation
- Data entry using Therap (EHR)
- Teach appropriate skills to enhance client independence
- HS diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license in good standing and must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance.
- Strong communication skills
