We are seeking a motivated and organized Volunteer Coordinator to oversee and support all aspects of our volunteer program. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about community engagement and enjoys building meaningful relationships while ensuring program efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day to day volunteer operations while ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal regulations
- Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and retain volunteers
- Plan, implement, and track ongoing volunteer recruitment and retention efforts
- Develop and execute community outreach initiatives, including public service announcements
- Coordinate volunteer schedules and manage workload distribution
- Achieve monthly and quarterly recruitment goals
- Orient new volunteers to assigned locations and environments
- Maintain accurate and up to date volunteer personnel files
- Collaborate with internal teams to support overall service delivery
- Track volunteer hours and maintain monthly reporting and statistics
- Provide ongoing support, engagement, and recognition for volunteers
- Conduct competency visits and annual supervisory evaluations
- Maintain flexibility to accommodate volunteer schedules
- Complete administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a related role preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
