SALARY: The salary range for this position is $107,014.85 to $165,655.03. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.

Vicinage 15 Cumberland, Gloucester, Salem Counties is seeking a dynamic, self-directed professional with strong leadership and communication skills who can motivate employees, provide direction, establish and implement internal and statewide procedures, foster teamwork and provide solid management to serve as a Court Executive 2b (Family Division Manager) in a multi-county vicinage.
The successful candidate will also possess excellent customer service skills to uphold the four core values of the Judiciary (independence, integrity, fairness and quality customer service). Under the direction of the Court Executive 3b (Trial Court Administrator), and in conjunction with the Family Division Presiding Judge, this individual will ensure the effective and efficient management of all aspects of family case management for the vicinage. The selected candidate, with the assistance of three assistant managers, will be responsible for directing and supervising the day-to-day operations of the Family Division in each county within the vicinage. The successful candidate will be able to trouble shoot crises and address both the immediate and long-term needs of the division. The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of case flow management; statistical collection and analysis; budget development and implementation; and the ability to recommend personnel actions, such as hiring, firing, promoting, and disciplining staff in accordance with Judiciary policies and guidelines. The Division Manager will serve as the liaison to a number of committees and conferences and must have strong outreach and collaborative skills; the successful candidate will serve as a coach and mentor to staff; monitor and assess staff performance, as well as prepare and conduct performance evaluations for direct reports; assess staff training needs and requirements for process, performance and behavioral improvements; formulate and develop divisional goals and objectives; and perform other related work as required.

Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and five years of professional administrative and/or program management experience which shall have included responsibility for reviewing court activities for compliance with laws, court rules or administrative directives; consulting with judges, attorneys and law clerks; evaluating case management systems; coordinating activities between agencies, government and enforcement units; and/or preparing and analyzing case processing statistical reports and three years of supervision of staff.
Substitution: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits. An associate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of additional professional experience may be substituted for the required bachelor's degree. A master's degree from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of experience as indicated above -OR- a law degree from an approved American Bar Association law school may be substituted for two years of experience as indicated above.

Driver's License: Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
