Kent Place Kids (KPK) Aftercare Supervisor
Kent Place School seeks an experienced and dynamic KPK Aftercare Supervisor to build and directly supervise a robust after-care program for students in Junior Pre-Kindergarten (JPK) through Grade 5. This part-time role is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment that includes program operation, staffing, budgeting, and essential communications with Primary School families.
The ideal candidate possesses experience with primary-aged children, strong organizational and people management skills, and a commitment to creating an optimal after-school environment.

Kent Place Kids (KPK) Aftercare Supervisor
Kent Place School seeks an experienced and dynamic KPK Aftercare Supervisor to build and directly supervise a robust after-care program for students in Junior Pre-Kindergarten (JPK) through Grade 5. This part-time role is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment that includes program operation, staffing, budgeting, and essential communications with Primary School families.

Responsibilities
- Supervise all participating students during all activities, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring student safety and engagement.
- Plan and execute engaging group activities, projects, and homework support in collaboration with the KPK Assistant.
- Manage coordination with the school’s various Afterschool Enrichment Programs to ensure seamless student transitions.
- Oversee and supervise students during special sessions, including conference drop-in care and potential Professional Development (PD) days off.
- Coordinate and help supervise a one-week Spring Break Camp for Kent Place and non-Kent Place students.
- Provide coverage and supervision for additional Auxiliary Programs, including a one-week March break camp, two weeks of June Camp, and Week 3 of Travel Camp.
- Manage the after-care schedule and coordinate substitute coverage for the program in conjunction with the Director of Summer & Auxiliary Programs.
- Advise the Director on staffing and resource needs to optimize program quality and student experience.
- Serve as the Budget Manager for the KPK Aftercare Program.
- Provide a monthly statement of student enrollment.
- Serve as the Purchasing Manager for all necessary resources and materials, in partnership with the Director.
- Manage daily communication between parents and the school regarding all after-care students.
- Assist in preparing annual enrollment information and the program calendar.
- Communicate with Primary School parents and confer with teachers of KPK attendees, as necessary, to ensure consistency and support.
