Campus Store and Summer/Auxiliary Program Associate
The Pennington School seeks a full-time Campus Store and Summer/Auxiliary Program Associate to manage the day-to-day operations of the campus store, support campus center activities, and assist in coordinating summer and auxiliary programs. Reporting to the Director of Summer and Auxiliary Programs, this 12-month position plays a crucial role in supporting school life throughout the year and advancing the School’s auxiliary initiatives.
Essential Duties
The minimum salary for this position is $60,000. The actual offer will be commensurate with the candidate's skills and experience. Campus Store and Summer/Auxiliary Program Associate

Reporting to the Director of Summer and Auxiliary Programs, this 12-month position plays a crucial role in supporting school life throughout the year and advancing the School’s auxiliary initiatives.
Essential Duties
- Manage purchasing, inventory, and sales of campus store merchandise
- Oversee the online campus store, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of orders
- Maintain store organization, cleanliness, and visual appeal
- Foster a welcoming environment and promote a positive image of the campus store and the School
- Collaborate with various departments on branded merchandise and event needs
- Coordinate special orders, athletic gear, and senior cap and gown purchases
- Assist with snack bar operations as needed
- Support the Director of Summer and Auxiliary Programs with auxiliary and summer camp operations, including scheduling and vendor management, as well as administrative tasks
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Summer Programs to coordinate hiring, onboarding, and payroll logistics for summer camp staff
- Help develop and expand auxiliary programs that generate additional revenue and strengthen community engagement
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Five years of combined experience in both administrative and retail settings, with at least one year of supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Proficiency with software applications, email applications, and photo-editing tools
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace; point-of-sale and Shopify experience preferred
- Familiarity with inventory management and basic financial reporting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-starter; able to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Experience working with summer or auxiliary programs is preferred
- A collaborative spirit and desire to work in a dynamic school environment
- Enthusiasm for working with students out of the classroom
- Desire to be an active member of a community that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Interest in a boarding school environment
- Experience working in an independent school is a plus
- A positive attitude, a growth mindset, and a sense of humor
