Escrow Officer – Investor Transactions
Location: Austin, TX

Work Arrangement: Primarily in-office with some hybrid flexibility
A growing Austin title company is seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to independently manage residential and investor-focused transactions from opening through disbursement.
The company primarily supports real estate investors, including fix-and-flip deals funded through cash, hard money, and private financing.
This role offers ownership of active files, room to build referral relationships, and growth potential within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage escrow files from opening through closing and disbursement, including cash, hard-money, private-money, entity-vested, assignment, and portfolio transactions
- Prepare and review settlement statements, closing documents, and escrow instructions
- Review title commitments and coordinate outstanding requirements
- Liaise with buyers, sellers, investors, agents, lenders, attorneys, and underwriters
- Manage ~20–30 transactions per month, including 7–14 business-day closings
- Verify and disburse funds per compliance and wire-fraud prevention procedures
- Build relationships with clients and referral partners
Required
- 3–5 years of escrow experience, independently managing the full closing process
- Current or reactivatable Texas Escrow Officer License
- Current Texas Notary Public commission
- Working knowledge of title commitments, settlement statements, and escrow procedures
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload under tight deadlines
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Ability to work primarily from the Austin office
Preferred
- Experience with investor, fix-and-flip, or non-traditional closings (hard-money, entity-vested, assignment, etc.)
- Experience with Qualia or similar title-production platforms
- Existing referral relationships or book of business
- Interest in business development or future team leadership
Training provided on internal procedures; candidates must already understand the full escrow and closing process. Not an entry-level role.
