Role Description: Junior Chemist (BS Level)
This is a full-time, on-site position in Fort Collins, CO. As a Junior Chemist, you will play a key role in our R&D team, helping advance the development of bio-acetic acid and derivative products.
You will:
- Conduct laboratory experiments to optimize processes and support new product development
- Perform quality control tests and analytical measurements (e.g., GC-MS, NMR)
- Prepare and analyze samples, maintain laboratory equipment, and accurately document results
- Collaborate with fellow scientists and engineers in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
- Contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge, sustainable chemical processes with real-world impact
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field
- Hands-on wet chemistry laboratory experience
- Familiarity with analytical techniques (e.g., GC-MS, NMR)
- Experience with laboratory operations and quality control
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Problem-solving and critical thinking mindset
