We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant with 2–4 years of public accounting experience who is looking to expand their technical skills and grow professionally.
Responsibilities
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for:
- Individuals
- Partnerships
- S Corporations
- C Corporations
- Trusts and Estates
- Prepare workpapers and tax projections.
- Perform bookkeeping and write-up services for business clients.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with compilations, reviews, and audits.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare adjusting journal entries and supporting schedules.
- Communicate with clients to obtain information and resolve questions.
- Assist with tax planning and year-end accounting projects.
- Work closely with senior accountants and partners on a variety of engagements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 2–4 years of recent public accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of individual, partnership, corporate, and fiduciary tax returns.
- Experience with financial statement preparation and compilations, reviews, or audits is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- CPA license or CPA-track candidate is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with CCH Axcess Tax, QuickBooks, CCH Engagement is a plus.
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
