Job Description: Direct Support Professional– Community Living
New Horizons is looking for a Direct Support Professional employee to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their individual goals. This is a full-time position. It will be second shift with rotating weekends.
Direct Support Professional employees may need to assist clients with household management tasks (such as meal preparation, laundry, cleaning and decorating), physical needs (such as grooming or eating), or community needs (participating in events, hobbies, recreational activities).

Job Qualifications
Eighteen (18) Years of Age or older
High School Diploma or GED required
Valid Driver’s License
Complete required training including First Aid/CPR certification
Additional Information
Drug Test and TB test required
Background report and driving record required

2nd shift Monday - Friday = additional $0.50 per hour
2nd shift Saturday and Sunday = additional $1.50 per hour
