Certified Medical Assistant – $20/hr (Outpatient Mental Health Clinic)
Location: New Horizons, 4735 Belpar St NW, Canton, OH 44718
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM (No weekends)
About Us:
New Horizons is a private outpatient mental health clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team.
Position Summary:
The Certified Medical Assistant will support clinical operations, assist providers, and help maintain an organized and efficient workflow within the office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist providers with patient intake and basic clinical tasks
- Manage EMR documentation and scheduling
- Communicate professionally with patients and staff
- Perform administrative duties as needed
- Adapt to interruptions and shifting priorities
- Work independently and collaboratively with the team
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (required)
- Strong computer skills and comfort navigating EMR systems
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
Compensation:
- $20/hour
- Four-day workweek, no weekends
