Responsibilities
- Assist with procurement activities by sourcing materials, reviewing purchase requests, and supporting supplier communications
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Support warehouse operations by tracking stock levels, conducting inventory counts, and managing stock replenishment
- Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
- Help ensure compliance with contracts, pricing agreements, and inventory control procedures
- Utilize materials management tools to support production planning and merchandising efforts
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain processes and inventory management practices
Experience
- Entry-level experience or internship in procurement, warehouse operations, or supply chain management preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of materials management, inventory control, logistics, and sourcing concepts
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping
- Effective communication skills for negotiating with suppliers and coordinating with internal teams
- Enthusiastic team player eager to learn about contracts, pricing strategies, production planning, and merchandising
- College degree
