Position: AP Clerk Part Time
Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring all vendor invoices are processed accurately and payments completed in a timely manner. Will maintain all necessary Accounts Payable documentation for annual audits.
Requirements:
- Requires understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
- Needs strong interpersonal communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Must be detail oriented and maintain strict ethical and professional boundaries
- Willingness to work in a change-based environment
- Ability to use independent critical thinking and be self-directed with little supervision needed.
- Must possess the ability to manage several projects simultaneously with exceptional follow-up.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central highly preferred.
- Competent ability to use a personal computer and associated peripherals, accounting software and online platforms, and a thorough understanding of Microsoft suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Have the ability to use a multi-line telephone, copy machine, printers, scanning devices, calculator, and general office equipment.
Education/Experience:
- Associate degree in accounting or two (2) years of progressive on-the-job office experience.
Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Receiving, reviewing, and verifying invoices for accuracy; sending invoices to Admins for final review/approval; entering approved invoices into BC System.
- Payment Execution: Scheduling and executing weekly payments via check or online portals; processing completed payment cycles for mailing and entry into the Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP System.
- Vendor Management: Communicating with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies, address queries, and update account information.
