What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resource Manager position at New Hope Wellness?
POSITION REQUIREMENTS include but are not limited to the following:
- A minimum of 2 years Human Resources experience required.
- Experience organizing and managing large quantities of files and records.
- Proficiency with MS Office program and ability to create spreadsheets and database with Excel.
- Strong ability to take initiative.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to self-direct.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and produce high quality and accurate work.
ROLE SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
- Draft job descriptions and post hiring ads as needed to maintain staffing requirements
- Schedule interviews with the necessary supervisory staff and manage recruiting schedule
- Coordinate onboarding training for new staff and annual re- training for all current staff
- Monitor HR documentation expiration dates and notify staff accordingly to maintain compliant HR records
- Submit appropriate background check forms for all staff members and maintain appropriate background check documents annually
- Manage employee and contractor relationships by responding to informal and formal complaints and grievances
- Enforce company policies and standards as provided in the Company Handbook
- Staying updated on labor laws, updating handbooks, and ensuring legal adherence
- Aligning HR strategies with overall company objectives and forecasting workforce needs
- Creating programs for skill development, performance improvement, and career growth
- Plan activities and incentives to boost employee morale
- Manage and maintain all HR and payroll records
- Receive approved timesheets weekly from all direct support staff and time approval from QAs
- Receive and review invoices weekly from all contractors
- Submit payroll biweekly to payroll processing company
- Communicate weekly with Program Managers regarding staffing performance or concerns
- Remain aware of DMAS and DBHDS regulations regarding staffing requirements and eligibility for each direct support role
- Perform other duties as assigned
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 9a to 5p (In Office)
