Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time Team Leader role located in Rock Hill, SC. A Team Leader is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within assigned programs, supervising staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to youth. The role includes coordinating schedules, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, supporting staff development, and promoting a positive and therapeutic environment for residents. The Team Leader will also regularly communicate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate staff effectively.
- Knowledge and experience in behavioral healthcare, including understanding of mood disorders, substance abuse, and behavioral disorders.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in compliance with regulatory standards and documentation in the mental health or healthcare field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (or equivalent experience); advanced degrees and certifications are an advantage.
- CPR, first aid training, and certification are preferred but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, showing empathy and respect toward adolescents and their families.
